Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin (CHW) is a rapidly growing nationally recognized facility located on the suburban campus of the Milwaukee Regional Medical Center. The hospital is a 297 bed tertiary care center and is a Level I pediatric trauma center. Children's Hospital of Wisconsin is one of the nation's top pediatric hospitals. Parent’s magazine ranked CHW 4th in the Country, and U.S. News & World Report ranked all ten assessed subspecialties of CHW. 6 of these subspecialties ranked in the top 20, including the Herma Heart Center (#5), Nephrology (#12), Neurosurgery (# 14) and Pulmonary Medicine (# 16). MCW was founded in 1893 to serve the people of Wisconsin. MCW has more than 5000 full time equivalent faculty and staff, and MCW is the ninth largest private employer in the metro-Milwaukee area.
